You are doing great for just beginning!
I have no time for this stuff but always enjoy looking at how others complete their projects.
Good Luck!

Suggest that you use silicone rubber for super fine and permanent pieces instead of latex.

I've only been using latex for a month..... Can one use siicone rubber in the same way? Pouring it into moulds etc? And will it stick to the face as a prosthetic? If so I must find some for sale somewhere....

Silicone rubber is used in the medical profession for prosthetics and also for stage makeup. It will everything latex will do BETTER! Go to the Smooth-On website and look at silicone rubbers for stage makeup and special effects.

Had a look at the website, good stuff they're making...... For the minute I have a fair few litres of latex to use and a horrifically sharp learning curve to climb!! :-) But I'll definately give silicone a try in the future.
