Full head latex Mask by melesmeles-faber Full head latex Mask by melesmeles-faber
11/10/11 Aproximately 1 litre of latex used (should have put that info in the description)

DON'T EVER TRY ANYTHING LIKE THIS, BEFORE FINDING OUT WHETHER YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO LATEX OR NOT!!!!!!!
12/10/11 My skin around the neck is a bit sore this morning, it's not an allergy, but just the pressure put on the skin by the latex 'pulling' at it........

I don't disagree with you!  The whole process of painting my head with latex was let's say 'unusual' and possibly disturbing!;)

LOL... There was no actual proper 'fur' texture on the head ecause of doing it this way...... Yep, it still passable though!

This is very interesting!
May I suggest making a jackle head next? You could then do and Anubis outfit!
I'd recomend covering your own ears and building large jackle ones, though.

I got the hot foam, but I have to be so delicate cause of the edges.

Thanks for the feedback.

Do you know any alternative materials to latex? I would make a mask for my friend but he's extremely allergic to latex.

There is silicone rubber, which loads of people seem to make masks out of nowadays..... I don't have any experience at all with it!

AWWSUMMM, you should totally paint the shell to make it look like it has fur!!! (and cut earholes)

Thank you! :-) This mask is going to have to wait a bit, as I want to concenetrate on a badger one for the minute..... And make a full cast of my head and shoulders to slip the masks onto to paint them.... Earholes ? Who needs them, better to stay in a calmer quieter world! LOL
